One of our favorite challenges in the interiorscaping world is bringing life and color to space where living plants aren’t an option. With this corporate renovation, the client’s space was stark and needed green to soften the reception and create an inviting environment. Taking a sketch from an architect, we created a design to meet their vision and make it a reality. As our graphic designer created a3D elevation through Google SketchUp, she was able to send the files to the studio team for a nearly seamless construction of the client’s vision. The only hiccup was a slight misunderstanding of the color scheme…which required the entire moss portion of the wall to be reconstructed days before installation. However, all involved came together to make the client’s deadline happen. We also worked with a woodworker to safely construct and install the reclaimed wood portion of the design that allowed for a working swing door behind the reception desk. All in all, the project was a beautiful endeavor that all involved are proud of.
